Mother Always Said You Should…

Our moms always used to tell us “do this, do that, don’t do this, don’t do that”. As all kids do, we questioned their words at the time but with the benefit of hindsight, we can safely say just about everything they told us to do was the right thing. So, it’s very easy to say that our moms were, and are, very wise women.

Time reveals, in fact, that just about every caring mother is a “wise woman”. We can see why we carve out a special day each year to acknowledge mothers. So here is a shout out to all the moms – Happy Mother’s Day!!

We are lucky to have our moms still with us (and in Jason’s case, both his grandmothers!). But we recognize that many of our friends and clients are not so lucky. For all of those who have a significant woman in their life no longer with them – may you remember the best about them.

There are also many who never knew their mom due to unfortunate circumstances. We bet someone played that roll in their life and they too deserve a Happy Mother’s Day!

Regardless, we can celebrate this Mother’s Day knowing moms both here and no longer here are special in more ways than we can count.

For every house we sell this year, we are donating a portion of our income to The Wounded Warrior Project. Our goal, again, is to raise $10,000 for this worthy cause.

This is where we need your help and how you can benefit at the same time…

It is still tax season, so don’t forget about lowering your tax base with a charitable contribution! These are tax deductible to a point. Rather than giving your money to the government, you should consider making a donation to a charity. I believe it will come back to you, well beyond a simple tax deduction. At Richmond Realty, we believe strongly in this and practice what we preach through our relationship with the Wounded Warrior Project.

Either way, your referrals are in good hands and help us contribute to a good cause.

Life moves fast for some and we are eager to make the Home Selling and Buying experience a smooth, rewarding one. Over the last two decades of helping thousands of families sell their home and/or buy another, we have met some wonderful, loving, caring people. People like you! So you can rest assured that your referrals – those you know considering a move – will get the award winning service that we are known for. And of course, a portion of the income we receive will go towards a very worthy cause.

As you know Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, incidental to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. On that date, America watched in horror as approximately 3,000 people died including hundreds of firefighters and rescue workers. Many warriors note a sense of duty to volunteer for the military following these tragic events.

YOUR REFERRALS REALLY DO HELP THE VETERANS!

Who do you know considering buying or selling a home you could refer to our real estate sales team?

Not only will they benefit from our award winning service, but we donate a portion of our income on every home sale to the Wounded Warrior Project.

We want to make it easy to refer your friends, neighbors, associates or family members considering making a move, so here are your options:

  • 1. You can pass along our business card to them, we have enclosed a couple here for that purpose.
  • 2. You can go to http://www.BlakeTeamReferrals.com and enter their contact info online or forward the link to who you know considering a move.
  • 3. Of course you can always call us direct as well at 718-608-4892.

You and your referrals mean more to our team now than ever.” Beneath that, remove the sentence that says “Thank you in advance for the referrals.

Thank you in advance for the referrals.

With all our appreciation,

Why We Support The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP)

When we decided to create this program, it did not take us very long to agree on a charity to support. We have a very close family member who bravely fought on the front lines of World War II and was seriously injured; and more recently a close lifelong friend who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. So this was the natural fit for our organization. This belief was only strengthened when we started to read more about their mission and how they serve their members. WWP serves veterans & service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound incidental to their military service. And with major advancements in battlefield medicine and body armor, more and more service members are surviving severe injuries. In addition to physical wounds, it is estimated as many as 400,000 service members live with the invisible wounds of war including combat related stress, major depression, and PTSD.

Our team rallies around our annual goal of raising money & donating portions of our income to helping this worthy cause. We are committed to providing outstanding results for both buyers & sellers referred to us by our past clients, friends, and others. Since WWP survives on sponsorships & donations from grateful civilians, we are happy to contribute and proud to support the brave men and women who literally put their lives on the line for our freedom.
