‘YOUR’ Life Matters…
In the news right now there are crazy things going on. Protests, police getting shot, politics with heated rhetoric – it seems that daily, news breaks that breaks hearts.
Black Lives Matter, Blue Lives Matter, All Lives Matter shouts one group or another. It is difficult to absorb and much of it dividing.
We took the opportunity last week at our company’s monthly day long training event to make sure everyone was aware of our mission statement. To sum it up for you here in this month’s Homeward Bound: Your Life Matters.
We get up each day and approach work and life with a mission of putting OTHERS first. We told our team “whoever you are talking to, looking at, thinking about, whoever it is, in your mind say to yourself about them… your life matters”.
2nd Mile Service
Sure, we love selling real estate – but the reason we do it better than most, we believe, is because we approach everyone and each other with that mission in mind: Your Life Matters. This way of thinking means we must go beyond what is required. One of the most popular fast food chains in America, Chic-Fil-A, calls it 2nd Mile Service. We call it a better way to work and live. This may help explain why we also do things differently than other real estate companies, like donating portions of our income to worthy causes.
And speaking of worthy causes… Your friends, neighbors, work associates and family members who may be considering a move can now do so and celebrate true independence from the fear of getting stuck with two homes or none at all.
Your referrals help the Veterans…
As you know Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, incidental to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. On that date, America watched in horror as approximately 3,000 people died including hundreds of firefighters and rescue workers. Many warriors note a sense of duty to volunteer for the military following these tragic events.
Who do you know considering buying or selling a home you could refer to our real estate sales team?
Not only will they benefit from our award winning service, but we donate a portion of our income on every home sale to the Wounded Warrior Project.
We want to make it easy to refer your friends, neighbors, associates or family members considering making a move, so here are your options:
- You can pass along our business card to them, we have enclosed a couple here for that purpose.
- You can go to http://www.BlakeTeamReferrals.com and enter their contact info online or forward the link to who you know considering a move.
- Of course you can always call us direct as well at 718-608-4892.
You and your referrals mean more to our team now than ever before. Thank you in advance for thinking of us.
With all our appreciation,
Richmond Realty Advisors
Why We Support The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP)
When we decided to create this program, it did not take us very long to agree on a charity to support. We have a very close family member who bravely fought on the front lines of World War II and was seriously injured; and more recently a close lifelong friend who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. So this was the natural fit for our organization. This belief was only strengthened when we started to read more about their mission and how they serve their members. WWP serves veterans & service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound incidental to their military service. And with major advancements in battlefield medicine and body armor, more and more service members are surviving severe injuries. In addition to physical wounds, it is estimated as many as 400,000 service members live with the invisible wounds of war including combat related stress, major depression, and PTSD.
Our team rallies around our annual goal of raising money & donating portions of our income to helping this worthy cause. We are committed to providing outstanding results for both buyers & sellers referred to us by our past clients, friends, and others. Since WWP survives on sponsorships & donations from grateful civilians, we are happy to contribute and proud to support the brave men and women who literally put their lives on the line for our freedom.
